Thank you IJustine! =)

I have always been a huge fan of IJustine! I find her videos extremely entertaining! For the longest time I have wanted to put one of her video’s up on this blog, but since this blog is about dogs and she doesn’t often do videos about dogs I was torn! TORN! hehe.

I sent Justine an email and explained my dilemma to her! She was amazingly sweet and very accommodating! She is a dog lover as well, but unfortunately she is allergic to them! Despite her allergies Justine Pulled Through for me!!!!! (YAYA THANK YOU!)

I find this video VERY timely since two very good friends of mine JUST got an italian teacup greyhound as well!

So please, enjoy this video, and afterwards take a peek at her Tasty Blog Snack for yourself! I hope you find her as captivating as I do! Make sure to check out her August 29th post “In Alaska” to see some amazingly cute little sled-dog puppies!

Thank you Justine! Much love from PupCulture! I owe you a box of Junior Mints (just keep them away from the earbuds!)

So many of you have helped me so much it almost brings tears to my eyes! So thank you Mom, Sue, Pawpaw and Memaw for all my gifts! And a big thanks to my husband Howard for all the PB&J sandwiches he been eating as of late to help achieve this dream too! I love you guys very much! Thanks so much for my Clippers, Blades, Blade Case and Grooming Books! I have no clue how I would have done it without you all!

My first clippers!

My Wahl KM2s came in today! I was so excited to get them! (Thank you Pawpaw and Memaw). AND I took a test today to finish out the first part of my training and start me on my Grooming Training / Apprenticeship! (Cheer!!!).

My coach told me to start getting my grooming supplies so I took another look at my “Wishlist” located here on the blog (bottom right corner). I did some comparison shopping and updated links for the most inexpensive items (the other place I had listed was too pricey).

So take a peek at some of the things my groomers toolbox will hold inside it! I’m gonna go play with my clippers some more!

And most of all, I want to say thank you to my friends and family for all there support and encouragement to chase my dreams! You all get free grooms! (When I learn how!).

It’s me or the Dog!

Well after spending all day driving around town like an idiot looking for a book I decided to do what I should have done in the first place and just order it online! It worries me that it says the book ships in 2-4 weeks!! Why so long? Is each one hand written? I’m very excited about getting this book and I plan to offer a full review of the book. Have you read it? Let me know what you think about the book if you have!

GAD: And the Winner is…

Congratulations to Travis and Presley! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the winner! The final three put up a good fight! JD & Galaxy and Lori & Andrew were some tough competition to go up against! But Travis and Presley pulled through!I really enjoyed this show. I liked the all of the judges (which is odd, normally there is one judge on these type shows I could care less about). As I may have mentioned before the show inspired me to start working more with Lucy on training and so far she has really enjoyed it. Its like she loves having “Work Time” =).

If it wasn’t going to be Bill & Star, I’m glad it was Travis and Presley! And for those of you who wonder what it looks like at the exact moment you have been told you won a quarter of a million dollars please see the picture below!

Gratz Guys! You both deserve it!

Greatest American Dog: The Final 3

Well. last night the judges made a tough decision but I’m going to have to agree with there call. I don’t think Teresa intended to come off as threatening as she did to Leroy but the harsh truth of the matter is, she was. I was sad to see Teresa and Leroy go. I really liked those too. But I like everyone left (as I mentioned last week in my post).

Initially I wasn’t a big fan of Laurie, I would venture to say I didn’t like her much at all (she does come off rather cold). BUT after getting to watch her with other peoples dog’s last night, my opinion of her has greatly changed. What’s up with Andrews infatuation with her? I did find that a little strange. Just a tad bit “Too Much”.

And now we have the Final 3!

JD & Galaxy (I’m so glad Galaxy is ok!)
Travis & Presley (Puppy Power!)
Laurie & Andrew (Big surprises come in little packages)

I will not be disappointed if any of these 3 win. In fact, that’s a hard call.
I think JD & Galaxy will win. I would like to see Travis & Presley win, but Laurie & Andrew are some fierce competition!

I have really enjoyed this show. It has inspired me to spend more time training with my dog Lucy (teaching her new tricks!) and also has opened up a new passion in life for me (training).
